NFP were approached by a start-up vineyard in the Sussex countryside to assess options for a new machinery building to store the equipment for managing the vineyard.
A detailed understanding of the permitted development regulations allowed NFP to assess the best positions for the building, ensuring that any application met the conditions but also allowed for local planning preferences when design and siting were also considered.
A robust statement accompanied the application, confirming the legal status of viticulture as agriculture, alongside the requirements of the design to give the Local Planning Authority all the information they needed to approve the application within the timescales.
NFP worked with the clients chosen contractors to oversee the build and get the building up and working for the season.
